Biography

Born In a spanish village called Banyeres del Penedés. Since 2008 I live in the Netherlands, Amsterdam. I obtained a Fine Arts BA at the University of Barcelona and as an Erasmus student at the Willem de Kooning Rotterdam (NL), followed by a Master’s degree from Frank Mohr Institute Groningen (NL) and a postgraduate at HISK (BE). During my recent years, I have done various Artist in Residencies, such as HISK (BE), Halle 14 (Leipzig, DE), Kunst and Complex (Rotterdam, NL), The Embassy in Mexico City (Mex), Frans Masareel (BE), 18th Street (Los Angeles, USA), DordtYart (Dordrecht, NL), and the Royal Spanish Academy in Rome (Rome, IT).

She had solo exhibitions in Museum Folkwang (DE), Drawing Center Diepehheim (NL), Kunsthal Rotterdam (NL), Art Rotterdam (NL), 18th Street Art Center (USA), Dordrecht Museum (NL), Arti et Amicitiae (NL) within others.

Several group exhibitions as in La Casa Encendida (ES), Azkuna Centroa (ES), Emil Filla Gallery in Usti nad Labem in the Czech Republic, CZ, Gallerie Maurits van der Laar (NL), Biennal Paper in Museum Rijswijk, Den Haag, NL, at Kunsthal Kade Amersfoort, NL, Centraal Museum (NL).

I have been nominated for the George Verbergstipendium (2013). I received a 2nd Guasch Couranty Painting Award in Barcelona (2018),The Spanish Generaciones Award in Madrid (2019) and  I have been longlisted for the Prix the Rome in Amsterdam (2019). I received the Scheffer Award from Dordrechts Museum (2020) and have been nominated by GRUNIII Groningen Museum award (2021). I received several grants from Mondriaan Fund, Nijmeijer Fund, AECID, Fundación Monte Madrid and is represented by Galerie Maurits van de Laar (NL)
