Biography

KARMEN CORAK, (1959,Slovenia) I live and work between Venice and Rome. I studied Graphic Arts in Croatia and Conservation and restoration of artworks on paper in Italy, Japan and Austria. I attended photography workshops with Rinko Kawauchi and Hans-Christian Schink. I partecipated in group and solo exhibition in Croatia, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Hungary and the USA, receiving international awards in Fine Art Photography in Paris, Malaga and Berlin. My photographs are in public collections in Italy and Japan.

With photography I question the invisible aspects of reality, representing them through a process of intimate reflection, with fragmentary or recomposed revelations.
