Biography

I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and the Central Institute for Restoration of Rome (ICR), working for several years in the field of conservation of wall paintings and paintings on wood/canvas.

The morphological and microscopic analysis of materials, deepened during my  restoration studies, and the empirical observation of natural structures, ordered in their disorder according to the fractal geometry, flow into my  research in a transdisciplinary sense. Textures, with clear allusion to relational dynamics, initially imprinted on clay grounds or made with various types of threads, have evolved into luminous installations.

My work experiments with different media, from textiles to video, from light to site-specific installations. I have engaged in social and environmental  initiatives, addressing critical issues such as microplastic pollution, violence against women and humanitarian assistance for the most vulnerable and migrants.

My activities also extend to the literary field with the publication of poetry collections and participation in numerous poetry readings at the Gallery of Modern Art in Rome, public gardens in Rome and the Regina Coeli prison, focusing on social and environmental themes as well as Pasolinian writing. In my works, poetry and visual art interact fluidly, without rigid boundaries, aiming to merge and contaminate multiple languages.
