Biography
I am an Italian artist, I live in Naples, I started to escape the fixed rules very early and despite the impediments, I chose to be an artist since I was a little girl, a choice that I still support today, making art with my deep feeling. I attended the Faculty of Architecture and also worked at the MANN (Archaeological Museum) and then decidedly diverted to my real
interest in contemporary visual arts.
Self-taught, non-conformist, free-thinking, I handle my work with care which comes from intellect, passion, intuition and technical knowledge. I talk about the restlessness of the world I breathe and despite the extreme difficulties, I look for visions within myself to elevate them to an artistic language and merge social motive and interiority. My gaze acts on the recovery and regeneration of Nature.
Through cuts and reconstructions, I create energetic spaces, where art and life converge dialectically on the sharp edge of a precise, direct way of doing things, always poised between transience and restlessness. I experience a perennial state of precariousness, so much so that I make this impulse a reason for investigation, translating it into artistic language through an archetype: a tree.
Swinging. Unstable like territories, forests, glaciers, analyzing the minimum distance, I dare say nothing, between the internal abyss and the universal symbol, which has a curve in the place of the roots, and the roots upside down upwards like branches, like arms, like maps of existence, they ideally extend to the mystical design of infinity.
The tree, without roots, is visionary free to go, to move in every direction, to encounter that small, fragile point of balance that gives meaning to existence. Straight on the curve, the tree swings in the consolatory cradle, and like a hypnotic mantra, chases the allegory of
man’s incessant pursuit of inner peace.
The immersive environment in which I project my projects is pervaded by a spirituality that suggests a vision of the world animated by clear references to daily life, to the human psyche, to the natural world, bringing back the necessary dialogue between man, technology, and a more attentive, to the hope of finding each other again.
All my artistic research follows an apparently heterogeneous trend but in reality developed along several coherent paths, numerical control is often insinuated into my projects, in the need to express concepts of substantial ethical and poetic emergency, always projected to the thought of the design of future life, as numbers like the sky never end.
I am present on the artistic scene with exhibitions, to name a few: One Thousand Billions of Trees, an artistic project in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture of the Federico ll University of Naples in the figure of Prof. Giovanna Aronne and doctor Leone Ermes Romano for the scientific research of the Wolffia Globosa, a plant presented in the exhibition, the subject of studies within the Super Food for Space project financed by the European Space Agency-ESA, SciSpaceETeam, the Thousand Billion Trees project curated by Loredana Troise it was presented at the Monumental Complex of San
