Biography

Graduated in Fine Arts, she obtained a doctorate in engraving and a Cap (pedagogical qualification course) at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Erasmus scholarship at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Leonardo da Vinci scholarship at the Luigi Ferranti art printing house, Rome. 

In her work she re-elaborates some specific themes related to the female world such as domestic life, family affections, motherhood and care. The artist’s preferred expressive medium is engraving, an ancient technique with which she creates works of art that deal with feminism and gender stereotypes. The engravings on paper in soft pastel colours show the interpretation of the artist and are transformed into floors, books,  wooden boxes and large three-dimensional installations.

Since 2004 she has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Spain and Italy in private and public spaces such as Espai d ‘art in Gandia (Valencia), Museo del Tossal in Valencia, Museo Arqueològico di Enguera (Valencia), Instituto Cervantes in Rome, Casa Museo Mario Praz, L’escorxador Center de Cultura Contemporànea of ​​Elche (Alicante), Palazzo delle Esposizioni de Rome, International Mimmo Festival of Sueca (Valencia), Ric Festival of Rieti, International BNL of Italy, Bilotti Museum, and AlbumArte, just to name a few.

As a teacher she organized and supervised courses for children at the Cervantes Institute in Rome and Sofia, the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome and the Mario Praz House Museum in Rome. She is the head of many workshops at the Marymount Institute and at the Busy-bees International Preschool schools in Rome.

Since 2015 she has been the head of the pedagogical project at the BNL Internationals of Italy. In 2018 and 2019 she published her illustrated books: La Lupa di Roma and Il Colosseo e il Circo Massimo translated into 5 languages. 

Her projects received funding from the Lazio Region, the Cultural Center of Contemporary Culture of Elche, the Spanish Embassy in Italy and the Teatres de la Generalitat in Valencia. It has obtained the patronage of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Province of Rome, the Spanish Embassy in Italy and the Cervantes Institute in Rome.
